Protecting the Owls and Saving the World

The plight of the owls is one that doesn’t often get the spotlight, when it really should. The Owl Rescue Centre are acutely aware of the dangers facing our wild owls, but this time they’re casting their net a little wider and taking on plastic pollution. They were shocked to discover that only 2 % of plastic waste in South Africa is recycled, and they want to change that. From now on, their Owl Houses, Bat Houses and Bee Hives will all be made from recycled plastic.
