Take it Slow with Regent
There comes a time when you need to reduce your pace… and take it slow for a while. It is definitely the moment to let Regent Seven Seas Cruises immerse you within its special brand of all-inclusive luxury, where time stands still for guests caught up in the shimmer of endless possibilities.
Following the recent opening of reservations for its newest luxury ship, Seven Seas Splendor, Regent Seven Seas Cruises recorded the best single booking day in the brand’s 26-year history. A 32 % increase was achieved over the previous all-time high on the inaugural season launch day in 2015 for Seven Seas Explorer, promoted as ‘the most luxurious ship ever built’.
This enthusiastic response to Seven Seas Splendor – launching in 2020 – proves demand for Regent’s timeless elegance continues to grow. When the highly anticipated ship embarks on her first voyage, she too will deliver elevated levels of sophistication and personalised service to satisfy guests from the leisure end of
the spectrum right through to corporate delegates and their business interests.
All five ships have distinctive designs featuring intricate details that create an aesthetically stunning and relaxing environment for passengers to cruise through the world’s most spectacular destinations. The craftsmanship and artistry behind Regent’s offering is undeniable. Each ship has lavish allsuite accommodation complete with customcrafted furnishings, private balconies and marble-clad bathrooms.
Regent visits 450 destinations, offering free and unlimited shore excursions at every port to share the history of the area, culture and cuisine. Seven Seas Wellness is a new programme on select sailings on Seven Seas Voyager aimed at guests for whom wellness is the ultimate luxury. It partners wellnessthemed excursions in the Med, such as an intimate Tai Chi class in the garden courtyard of the Pharo Palace in Marseille, with a selection of signature Canyon Ranch Spaclub services.
Back onboard Seven Seas Explorer, passengers can join one of its exclusive Gourmet Explorer Tours. Participants of such a
tour in Malaga, for example, can experience the Atarazanas Central Market, an architectural gem housing a vivid collection of fresh fish, Spanish hams, cheeses and fresh produce. Accompanied by the Culinary Arts Kitchen Chef Instructor, gourmands will shop for the ingredients needed for their onboard tapas cooking class. In France, Michelin-starred Master Chef René Bérard hosts guests at his private property where they enjoy a tour and cooking demonstration. A stylish lunch at Le Bistrot de Jef is included, featuring the very best of seasonal Provencal wines.
To tempt the palate further, passengers have a choice of French, Pan-asian and steakhouse fare onboard, so whether it is the Whole Maine lobster or a dish of poached artichoke, truffled white asparagus custard and fondant potato, there will be something for everyone on each menu, as the sun slips away for the day. And time slows down.
