A Feast of Film

-

The Durban International Film Festival (DIFF), which celebrates its 39th anniversary this year, is ready and set to bring the streets of Durban alive yet again this July. Taking place from 19 to 29 July, this annual world-class event showcases over 200 feature, documentary and short films from across the globe at different venues around Durban, including townships and prisons. An integral part of the festival, and in its ninth year, is the Durban Filmmart (DFM) – a four-day film industry programme that will see over 600 delegates converging to support, facilitate and develop the growth of the African film industry. Film-lovers around the world are invited to join the fun and binge on the work of their favourite talent, directors and producers in what promises to be a true feast of film. For more information on the Durban International Film Festival visit www.durbanfilmfest.co.za and for the Durban Filmmart visit www.durbanfilmmart.com.
