Wits to edge Chiefs to Nange?
Word coming out of Limpopo is that Phathutshedzo Nange has caught the eye of a few PSL clubs, most notably Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs.
The midfielder has been one of Black Leopards’ standout players this season, having played in every minute of all nine league games played to date. He has one league goal to his name so far, scoring the solitary goal in the 1-0 win over Baroka last month.
According to the information made available to the Siya crew, the 26-year-old has entered into the final year of his existing contract with Leopards and will be in a position to sign a pre-contract in January and ultimately leave on a free at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
With that in mind, the crew has been informed that both The Students and Amakhosi are monitoring his situation with keen interest, though Wits are leading the race to sign the midfielder.
Wits and Chiefs, over the past few seasons, have been maters at signing players on a free, and if Nange does not land up extending his stay at Leopards before January, you can expect him to be moving on next season.
