Big Three tracking Mnyamane
The latest news reaching the Siya crew is that South Africa’s so-called Big Three have shown an interest in Thabo Mnyamane.
It was earlier this year, in July, that Orlando Pirates had revived their interest in the SuperSport United attacker; however, it was revealed at the time that Matsatsantsa had no plans of losing the player’s services.
Siya sources have now informed the crew that Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs are all keeping a close eye on the player, with the trio all believed to be showing interest in trying to bring the 26-yearold to their respective camps.
Mnyamane, is however, contracted to SuperSport until the end of the 2021/22 season. In context of his long-term contract, any of his suitors will have to table an attractive contract in order to secure his signature, unless a swap deal that makes sense to Matsatsantsa is proposed.
The winger is currently nursing an injury, which has kept him on the sidelines since August. He has made two appearances for SuperSport in all competitions so far in the 2018/19 campaign, though is on the mend and expected back in action soon.
The January transfer window will officially open in a couple of weeks, at the start of January, and if the news reaching the Siya crew is anything to go by, you can expect Matsatsantsa holding talks around Mnyamane.
