• After scoring his second goal of the season during Mbombela United’s 3-1 win over Real Kings, Siyabonga Dubula told Soccer Laduma, “I’m enjoying myself, plus the coach believes a lot in me.”

• Former Super Eagle assistant coach, Lebogang ‘Congo’ Mothibantw­a, is doing well as head coach of North West ABC Motsepe League outfit, Young Zebras FC. “We’re giving Buya Msuthu a very tough time,” he said. • Siyabonga Ndlebe, a man with vast knowledge of the game at LFA, SAB and ABC Motsepe League levels, is now scouting for Ajax Cape Town. “I’m scouting strictly juniors aged 12 to 18. My work is voluntary. For me, football is my life,” he told Soccer Laduma. • Ubuntu Cape Town FC, who have been affiliated with Fish Hoek AFC for the past eight years, are set to play under their own banner from 2019 in accordance with SAFA’s constituti­onal definition of a football club. A small portion of Ubuntu’s social media statement read: “Specifical­ly, we’re re- quired to be affiliated to an LFA, with two junior and two senior teams.” • Ex- U20 internatio­nal, Jerry ‘ Bhubesi’ Mxabo, 25, is looking for a return to the NFD after scoring almost 100 goals during the past six years in the Western Cape third-tier, as follows: FC Tygerberg (20), Glendene United (11), Steenberg United FC (23), Ikapa Sporting (16), Ace FC (19) and Zizwe United (six in 13 games). “I’m now feeling ready for the NFD. As a teenager, I played briefly for Mpumalanga Black Aces and Cape Town All Stars, but back then, I had no experience,” he said.
