Shonga very, very key for Bucs

• The Zambian forward has attempted 3.85 shots per 90 minutes in the PSL this season, third-most in the competitio­n. Shonga’s 14 shots on target are tied for the third-most in the PSL.

• He leads Orlando Pirates with 4.33 penalty area touches per match, ranking eighth in the PSL in that category.

• The former Nkwazi FC man started in Bucs’ last six PSL matches of 2018. The team went unbeaten (3W, 3D) in those matches and he contribute­d to half (2 goals, 2 assists) of Pirates’ eight goals in those games.

• Shonga leads Pirates with a 0.36 goals per 90 minutes average this season.

• Eight of his 12 shot assists this season have set up shots inside the box, including both of his goal assists.
