“Oh, yeah, I remember him… the goalkeeper! I think Jorge was one of the nicest, most genuine guys around at the time. He was very nice and kind-hearted. He always wanted to make those around him feel welcome. Besides that, he was a very good goalkeeper as well. There’s nothing bad to say about old Jorge. I played against him a few times and with him a lot of times, and he always had a smile on his face. That was unless he had conceded a silly goal, then he would be upset with himself and everyone around him, ha, ha, ha. Helluva nice guy! He’s right, we used to play pranks on Mark McVeigh. Mark always used to regard himself as this good-looking lad, with white hair pulled to the side, and we gave him a few chirps. There was lots of banter. Good memories!”
