Bucs to offer Tlolane in De Reuck swap?

-

The Siya crew has learnt that Orlando Pirates could use on- loan star Tebogo Tlolane to land Maritzburg United defender Rushine De Reuck.

Tlolane, who secured a loan move to Maritzburg in January after struggling for gametime at the Buccaneers, has been in inspiring form since joining Eric Tinkler’s side where he switched to a more attacking role, scoring one goal and registering two assists in the eight matches that he has featured in.

Pirates are said to have been tracking the player’s progress closely and Josef Zinnbauer is said to be keen on the utility player returning to the club at the end of the 2019/10 campaign.

However, there could be a twist in Tlolane’s future.

Maritzburg’s De Reuck has been linked with a move to Pirates and Siya sources have indicated that the Soweto giants have not lost interest in the highly-rated central defender.

According to the sources, there is now talk that Bucs are looking at the possibility of offering Tlolane as part of the deal, in order to sweeten the deal and secure De Reuck’s signature.

De Reuck has been a standout performer in the Absa Premiership this season, playing a key role for the Team of Choice at the heart of defence. Although the 24-year-old has reiterated his desire to return to Europe, he has been earmarked by the Soweto giants as a long-term solution to bolster their defence.

The likes of Richard Ofori and Judas Moseamedi have also been linked to Pirates, and it remains to be seen if the goalkeeper and striker from part of a multiple player deal.
