Moses keen on loan move away from Downs?

-

The Siya crew has been informed that Mamelodi Sundowns defender Tristan Moses is actively looking for a club to join next season, possibly on loan.

Moses was linked with a move to Chippa United on the final day of this year’s January/ February transfer window and two sources have confirmed that there was serious interest from the Chilli Boys, who wanted to have the player on loan until the end of the season.

But the deal did not materialise and now the player and his representatives are hoping that he can secure a move, even if it’s for a season, away from Sundowns, to start getting game-time at a professional level.

Moses was signed from Kaizer Chiefs in 2018, where he played for their development side, and was said to be a player for the future for Downs, as former coach Pitso

Mosimane hailed his quality.

He played for the Brazilians’ MultiChoice Diski Challenge side, working with head coach David Notoane, but has not been able to break into the first team like some of the other players who have come through the ranks in recent seasons.

According to a source close to the player, his representatives are not happy with the fact that Moses has not made much progress in terms of getting first team opportunities. He is 23 and there’s a feeling that he should be playing regularly in the

Premier Soccer League.

“There was interest from Chippa and he will be looking to make a move for next season. A loan could happen for him,” the insider informed the Siya crew.
