Clatous Chama

-

The Zambian is a crucial creative player for the Tanzanian giants. Including the qualifying rounds, he has scored four times in this season’s CAF Champions League and recently bagged a brace in the 4-1 home win against AS Vita Club. He is more of a number 10 than Miquissone and would line up centrally in a 4-2-3-1, but if coach Didier Gomes Da Rosa goes with a 4-3-3, then Chama would move onto the left flank and look to drift inside. Simba have only lost two league matches this season and both came when Chama was unavailable – he is the glue in the final third. The Glamour Boys are going to have to pay very close attention to his movement between the lines with Blom or Baccus looking to pick him up. Former Orlando Pirates man Bernard Morrison is also on Simba’s books and will hope to start, but may be used as an impact substitute instead if three central midfielders are selected and Chama moves wide.
