Swallows join duo in Radiopane interest

-

Interest in Orlando Pirates starlet Boitumelo Radiopane is escalating, with another of the PSL outfits believed to be keen on the young talent.

Earlier this month, it was reported by Soccer Laduma that Pirates’ DStv Diski Challenge team’s top goalscorer is being tracked by both Chippa United and Golden Arrows, with both clubs looking to bolster their respective squads next season.

Indications are that the two clubs would be looking to sign the player on loan, with Bucs unlikely to sell one of Mzansi’s best youngsters outright, and instead send him out on loan in order to gain regular game-time at a senior level.

Following the report weeks ago, the Siya crew has been informed that Swallows FC have also entered the frame and are monitoring the 19-year-old’s progress. According to wellplaced Siya sources, the Dube Birds have shown interest in bringing the player on board on a loan deal.

“The player has proven himself with the (Pirates) reserves and it’s clear to see that he can score goals. Pirates strikers are doing well at the moment, so I don’t see him breaking into the squad anytime soon. Swallows,

Chippa and Arrows all want him, especially with strikers of his calibre being so scarce,” a source informed the crew.

According to information made available to the Siya crew, Radiopane is on a longterm contract at the Soweto giants, and it now remains to be seen whether the club fully incorporate him into the first team or whether they will follow the same path they did with the likes of Azola Tshobeni, Simo and Simiso Bophela and Thabiso Sesane, who have all been sent out on loan to secure more regular game-time.
