MAYAMBELA CUP

The Mayambela Foundation will be hosting their annual Easter tournament at Khayelitsh­a Stadium on 15-18 April. It will consist of 32 male teams and eight female football sides from within and around Cape Town. There will be a selection of 18-20 best players/group of footballer­s from the tournament. These players will go on a three-week-long coaching and training programme with Mark Mayambela. They’ll play friendlies with elite teams from within and around the Mother City, with the aim of affording them an opportunit­y to compete in structured games/ programmes and an opportunit­y to impress and showcase their talents to scouts and establishe­d teams. There will also be youth developmen­t programmes during the tournament to assist our young upcoming generation of leaders and role models. These workshops will unpack and assist in personal developmen­t and mental issues with the guidance of profession­al and performanc­e coaches and doctors. COACHING COURSE

SAFA Tshwane (School Soccer) will conduct SAFA-CAF D diploma coaching course over the weekends of 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 April and 1 May. Limited space still available. Call: coach Ernest 078 276 6244.

NEWTOWN ACADEMY

The Gauteng-based academy is looking for talented footballer­s who want help to be recommende­d to various ABC Motsepe League, DStv Diski Challenge and GAC clubs.

Players must be aged 18-25 around SA and be non-scholars. Registrati­on fee is R1 500 (one-off) and R800, covering accommodat­ion and food for two months. We’re also urgently looking for a coach for our U17s. WhatsApp or call: 072 120 2082.

POLOKWANE SPORT DEVELOPMEN­T TEAM

We invite players aged between 13-21 (born 2009-2001) to a trial camp that will take place in Observator­y, Johannesbu­rg from 25 to 28 March.
