The transfer window remains open and Kodisang’s representatives are currently working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the player gets a move before the deadline.

Makaab has stated on different occasions that the player cannot afford to stay in the Braga B team, so they are weighing up their options but also know that there is not a lot of time on their hands, with most of the clubs already preparing to kickstart their new campaigns at the beginning of August.

Should they fail to secure a move for him in Europe before the end of this month, the window in South Africa will close in September. This would give the player an opportunity to move even when the window closes in August in other countries.

The Siya crew understands that’s one of the options on the table, though Braga would not make it easy for any of the clubs in South Africa to secure his services, with Chiefs being fully aware of this.

At this stage, Amakhosi have cooled their interest in the player, but with the window is still open, the crew has been told that a move to Naturena cannot be ruled out just yet.

Kodisang is no stranger to PSL football, having made his PSL debut on the eve of his 16th birthday under former coach Cavin Johnson at Platinum Stars. He spent two years with Dikwena before making a move to Bidvest Wits, working with now SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt.

With four years of PSL football under his belt, Kodisang would have no problem adjusting to life in the local league. While he may not have been given a chance in the first team at Braga, he showed how much he has improved when he was one of the key players for the national U23 side during the Olympics.
