Offers pouring in for Mabiliso after Chiefs exit

-

According to reliable Siya sources, offers are pouring in for Sibusiso Mabiliso, who last week agreed to have his contract at Kaizer Chiefs terminated.

The 24-year-old left back joined the Glamour Boys on a three-year deal from AmaZulu FC in July last year as a free agent, and it was expected that he would soon become a regular at Naturena under then head coach Stuart Baxter.

However, Mabiliso only made six appearances and even when Arthur Zwane took over in the interim, the former youth international could still not break into the team.

The Siya crew has been led to believe that Usuthu are keen on taking Mabiliso back even though he did leave Durban under a dark cloud – president Sandile Zungu had accused the player’s agent at the time of being dishonest.

The player now has new representation, having been snapped up by Quality Talent Sports, who are said to be working on finding him a club.

AmaZulu will not have to pay a transfer fee, which is an ideal scenario for them as well as all the other suitors.

Soccer Laduma has also been informed that SuperSport United have also enquired about Mabiliso’s services, given that Sifiso Ngobeni has returned to Mamelodi Sundowns following his six-month loan spell with Matsatsantsa.

Another club reportedly keen on the player that represented the country at the Olympic Games in Japan last year is Swallows FC, who were in line to sign Mabiliso on loan had the player’s agent not asked for a contract termination.
