DLAMINI TARGETS TOPFLIGHT IN CLUB SEARCH

-

Former Sekhukhune United goalkeeper Ayanda Dlamini is targeting a top-flight move in his search for a new club, the Siya crew has been informed.

After two years with Sekhukhune, Dlamini was released alongside veteran goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini, among other players, as the club made several changes for their second season in the elite division.

Cape Town All Stars, who missed out on promotion to Swallows FC in the relegation/promotion playoffs at the end of the season, have been keen on Dlamini as they will be making another attempt for promotion in the new season.

However, the former Baroka FC shot-stopper is believed to have turned down the club, while assessing his options on possibly landing a new contract in the DStv Premiership.

“After being released from Sekhukhune United, Ayanda Dlamini is yet to find a new club. Cape Town All Stars were keen to sign him, but it seems that he has prioritised a move to the topflight at this point in his search. So, All Stars have been turned down,” said a source.

Dlamini is keen to revive his career and prove his worth in the big league, after making only two appearances last season as Zambian international Toaster Nsabata has made the team’s number one jersey his own since arriving at the club last year.
