Sundowns keen on Mogale return?

-

Mamelodi Sundowns are understood to be keen on bringing former scout and youth coach Floyd Mogale back to Chloorkop, the Siya crew has learnt.

A well-placed Siya source has revealed that the Brazilians are interested in bringing Mogale back to Chloorkop, where he is expected to head up the club’s scouting department.

“A return to the club is on the cards. Downs’ club Chairman, Tlhopie Motsepe, and the coaches at the club hold him in high regard. He is expected to return to the club as the head of scouting,” the source revealed.

Mogale is expected to get Sundowns’

house in order with regards to bringing in top young talent to the club, with Kaizer Chiefs having overtaken the Tshwane giants in that regard over the last few years.

Mogale initially left his post at the Brazilians to join Chippa United as the late Roger Sikhakhane’s assistant back in September 2014. However, after a few months, he parted ways with the club.

In January 2015, he joined Free State Stars as assistant coach to Kinnah Phiri but was dismissed along with the head coach in August of that year.

Mogale then returned to the Chilli Boys as Sikhakhane’s assistant once again. However, he decided to part ways with the team once again as Dan Masalesa was brought on board as assistant.

A few more coaching stints ensued for Mogale, including a period with Royal AM, before his last stint where he worked as a technical director at Free State Stars.
