On his nickname

“It’s a nickname that was given to me a long time ago back home after the man himself (Onismor), who used to play for Chiefs. It’s like some people can prophesy because they called me Bhasera and Bhasera was playing for Chiefs, and I also went on to play for Chiefs, ha, ha, ha. It’s just that I can’t remember who gave me the name, but I was still playing in the amateur ranks in Durban. I was so happy and proud of myself when I got to play for Chiefs and even today, I still ask myself who came up with the name. But Onismor knows that I’m called Bhasera, but we’ve never really spoken about it and we just greet each other and stuff like that and that’s all, ha, ha, ha.”
