Brazilians don’t lose their identity

-

I was at Orlando Stadium for the first international friendly between Banyana Banyana and Brazil. Everyone knows what happened, but what caught my eye was the discipline of the Brazilian ladies and their football culture. Brazilians don’t lose their identity. What I saw there was a true reflection of Brazilian football from all their different national teams, male or female. I could see the former male internationals in their women’s team. Their right back plays just like Cafu, left back like Roberto Carlos and so on. It was overwhelming to watch and I keep wondering how they get it right. In the Brazilians, I saw people using their strength to beat the opposition and they all play the same system. I must say I really enjoyed and learned a lot. That was a good game to watch.
