For a game that has been so one-sided in recent times, this would have come as a surprise for some, but not for others, as Orlando Pirates v Mamelodi Sundowns has always been a classic since the days of Williams Okpara and Raphael Chukwu… and even way before then. This was billed as the game where the Buccaneers would go toe-to-toe with the MTN8 defending champions and attempt victory at home, and they almost did, if not for a lack of finishing (and well, Ronwen Williams’ brilliance on the day).
