SUPERSPORT TO LOOK AT KEEPING MARGEMAN?

-

It might still be early in Grant Margeman’s time at SuperSport United, but the Siya crew understands that the club will look at the possibility of securing him for the long-term.

The player joined Matsatsantsa on a two-year loan deal from rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and has been in fine form working under coach Gavin Hunt this season. In the nine appearances he’s made up to now, the ex

Ajax Cape Town man has found the back of the net on two occasions and stands out as one of the best midfielders in the league thus far this season.

Hunt is a big fan of the 24-yearold and, with age still on his side, it’s understood that SuperSport will look at the possibility of keeping him once his loan spell comes to an end. SuperSport have let the likes of Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule join Downs this year and they are pleased to have found a midfielder who possesses the qualities that Margeman does, which is why they would look to hold onto him on a permanent basis.

Margeman, who was loaned out to Swallows FC last season, has spoken to the Siya crew recently, saying he is enjoying his game and regaining his confidence at SuperSport. And with a number of midfielders competing for a place at his parent club, a permanent move to Matsatsantsa could be an attractive option for him.
