On being nicknamed after Yaya Toure

“(Giggling) Funnily enough, when I got this name, it was my first day at the academy and we were still trialling. So, it was 11 v 11 and this other guy gave me the name and said, ‘This guy is killing us and he plays like Yaya Toure.’ Then everyone at the academy started calling me Yaya Toure. I just said to myself, let me just use the name, why not? Now everyone is calling me Yaya everywhere I go. It feels good to be called Yaya, I won’t lie, because of what he has done in football at the highest level. Also, I think I have a lot of similarities to him, the way of play, the body, the structure and everything, and that’s what most people also tell me.”
