AGENT ECSTATIC ON GUM’S DEAL

-

Former Free State Stars defender Sihle Gum’s representative is ecstatic for the player’s latest move after he signed with Casric Stars.

Following the purchase of the Ea Lla Koto franchise by Casric Stars prior to the start of the current season, Gum was one of the players signed by the ambitious outfit in line with their plans to push for promotion to the topflight. The 23-year-old has previously also played for TS Sporting and football agent Sivuyile Brian Funda has provided the details of the centre-back’s acquisition by Stars.

“My player Sihle Gum has a new home for the 2022/23 season in Pretoria with Casric Stars FC, which is the club that bought the status of Free State Stars FC. He is a centre-back and he played his first match for the team when they beat Black Leopards FC 3-1 recently,” said Funda, speaking to the Siya crew.

“We signed a two-year deal plus an option, and I am so happy that Sihle joined the Casric Stars family. I trust the club and I believe that they have a very good football structure and that is why I gave them my player. I believe they will be fighting for the league title this current season and I know that they also want to get automatic promotion to PSL (DStv Premiership) next season,” concluded the Whittlesea-born agent.
