Coaches I’ve worked with: This man didn’t take any nonsense

It is not every day that you find a former Orlando Pirates coach coming to Kaizer Chiefs and when this happened during my playing days, I thought to myself, “Is this a right decision? Is everything going to work out with this man?” To my surprise, this was a typical Englishman, a very straightforward individual with a bit of humour. I’m talking about coach Geoff Hudson – what a character! This man didn’t take any nonsense and I thought playing under him would be a nightmare for us, especially skillful players, only to later find out he was one of the best coaches I have ever worked with.
