Sundowns open communication

-

Following the Siya crew’s investigation, Sundowns have opened the communication lines with the academy as confirmed by Limpopo Sports School of Excellence Football Academy owner Hendrick Mukwevho.

This was after this publication reached out to the club for a right of reply. While the Chloorkop-based outfit did not respond to the Siya crew, Soccer Laduma has been informed that Sundowns are not pleased with the fact that it has been made public via the media.

“This whole thing has escalated and in the last few days we have been fighting about it. The club (Sundowns) isn’t happy that this has been brought to the attention of the media. They were asking me who leaked the information that they didn’t pay the money. I was shocked myself and I told them I didn’t call anyone to say I didn’t get the money. In fact, I shouldn’t even be talking to you, I was instructed,” said Mukwevho.

Pressed for further comment, the boss said, “Without saying much because, like I say, I wasn’t supposed to be discussing this with you, the money is going to be paid. I have seen an email come through and arrangements are being made for the payment to come through.”
