CHIPPA SLAP R20M PRICE TAG ON NWABALI?

The Siya crew has been informed of Chippa United’s asking price for one of their most sought after possessions, this after being unable to shake off interest from Europe and Saudi Arabia.

Stanley Nwabali has been on the radar of a number of top clubs over the last month following his heroics for Nigeria in the 2023 Afcon in Ivory Coast.

The 27-year-old has played an integral part in the Chilli Boys’ set-up ever since joining the club back in July 2022.

The latest news reaching this publication, via a source close to the dealings, is that the side from Gqeberha has placed a price tag of around R20 million for his services.

Soccer Laduma understands that Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq in Saudi and Queens Park Rangers are amongst the teams that have made an approach for the player’s services, though there are a few others

keen on the 1.96m keeper.

The player has stated his desire to pursue new challenges and with Chippa having named their asking price, it remains to be seen which of the interested clubs win the race for his signature!
