Cut zonal and re­gal pelargo­ni­ums back by half and trim over-ex­u­ber­ant ivyleafed pelargo­ni­ums. Use the 5–8cm-long tips as cut­tings. Trim just be­low a node or leaf joint, pull off lower leaves, and dust the ends in a root­ing hor­mone. Drop in holes in a sandy com­post mix, firm, and then wa­ter.
