PVA SETS THE TREND
PARK Village Auctions has been busy lately working on a number of big ticket auctions and the development of a number of new campaigns, according to chief executive Roy Lazarus.
Some of the company’s most significant 2013 auctions to date include Petzetakis Africa (a leading plastic pipe and hose line systems producer), Ramdale Stud (a Dullstroom-based farming concern), Armstrong Building Contractors and William Tell (a “massive ” Krugersdorp-based woodworking company).
PVA was also recently mandated with the sale of two particularly outstanding super cars.
According to Lazarus, the auctions have “attracted bidders in their droves” and achieved fantastic prices. Lazarus adds that PVA has a number of additional notable auctions in the pipeline.
“The fact that we continue to attract such big business speaks volumes about the confidence the industry and public has in our ability as an auctioneering firm,” says Lazarus.
“We have been in business for over 30 years and have built a solid reputation for being transparent and efficient.
“The fact that we have introduced ground-breaking auctioneering technology to the market and provide a ‘ fullhouse’ service also continues to work in our favour.”
In terms of PVA’s new campaigns, Lazarus explains that the company has embarked on new initiatives.
The most recent involves a partnership with Arrow Africa, which specialises in guerrilla marketing and outdoor advertising.
PVA ’ s additional new campaigns are private sector specific. The first campaign of this nature caters to those seeking to sell their cars privately via auction.
The second campaign runs along similar lines. Dubbed “Call Paul”, given PVA ’ s Paul Lendia’s direct management of the project, the campaign encourages individuals to sell their assets via PVA’s auction facilities.
PVA will accept just about anything, says Lendia, who adds that the company will arrange for the items to be collected and sold, subject to confirmation.
