KING CONTINUES TO INSULT ZUMA

People ‘ flushed like condoms’

- Pertunia Ratsatsi

THE AbaThembu king yesterday showered President Jacob Zuma with insults, calling him a liar who flushed people like condoms.

King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo was speaking to the media at the Union Buildings in Pretoria where he came to deliver a petition to Zuma.

He said the petition was a response to the president’s orders to Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Richard Baloyi to flush him out of his kingship.

He said AbaThembu had a meeting and formulated a response.

“We ’ re simply telling him to go back to Nkandla and keep his Nkandla to himself, and leave the AbaThembu kingdom alone. We need no interference,” he said.

“I am expecting a practical response. He may not even write to me because he usually lies.”

Dalindyebo said if that did not happen, then “we’ve broken all relationships with the president”.

“Because he flushes people like condoms. You know, like yesterday (Tuesday).

“What makes him think he can flush kings? He also flushes his own ministers like condoms. Unfortunately, I would say the president has a habit of not condomising.

“We do not like people with that kind of attitude. His behaviour is indeed a shower mentality.”

He said Melisizwe Bleki, deputy director of public liaison in the Presidency, accepted the memorandum.

The king said Zuma had tried to arrange a meeting through Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, but “I refused because I don’t want to meet him because there’s no reason to meet liars”.

“I cannot be ordered to come to his office, he must come to my office. I am king unto him, he’s just a Zulu boy.”

He said the fact that he was no longer king was just rumours of Zuma’s puppets.

Dalindyebo said the ailing former president Nelson Mandela was “brilliant”.

“Madiba is looking good, according to me, and he has not been talking. But I got some good gestures from him. He is able to smile.”

He said Madikizela-Mandela was grateful and happy to see him.

“She felt stronger than before and very much encouraged.

“They are keeping Madiba in a good condition. They are doing so much to keep him alive.”

He said they were going to deal with Mandela’s grandson and Mvezo chief Mandla Mandela as soon as they had dealt with Mandela’s health.

“But at the moment we have dismissed Mandla from royalty, dismissed him as a chief.”

He said he was now joining the Democratic Alliance.
