Khomo back on Muvhango
ACTRESS and model Phuti Khomo has returned to TV drama
The Miss SA Teen 2002 winner and former radio presenter will reprise her role of fashion designer Carol Chabeli in the long-running show on SABC2.
“She shot her first scene in November last year. She will make her first appearance at the end of February [or early March,” a source on set said.
“She is back, but not on a permanent basis. It was a contract.”
The show’s publicist Amanda Ngudle confirmed the news but refused to go into detail.
“We have an ongoing relationship with her and it is good so far. She is one of our call actors.”
Yesterday, an uncomfortable Khomo said she could not speak about
Muvhango.
She said that she was not well and was preparing for a surgical procedure.
