PVA ’ S PROPERTY AUCTIONS DRAW BIDDERS IN DROVES

-

ALTHOUGH arguably best known for its vehicle auction prowess, Park Village Auctions has also earned a reputation for auctioning properties across the board.

The auction of properties of every shape and size over the past few months testifies to the company ’ s abilities in this regard says PVA ’ s Jaco du Toit.

For instance, towards the end of 2014, PVA auctioned a “jawdropping ” double-storey in the upmarket residential estate of Kosmos Ridge in Hartbeespoort.

Stand out features of this property included, among others, an infinity swimming pool, a lavish master bedroom, a stunning entertainment patio, a gym and squash court.

In November PVA auctioned a large industrial property, plant and equipment stemming from the liquidation of two entities in Germiston. In December, a sectional title unit was auctioned at number 2 Madison Palms East on Grayston Drive.

Later that month, four blocks of flats and an adjacent portion of sizeable commercial land situated in the township of Zamdela in Sasolburg was also brought to market by PVA.

In January, PVA auctioned a large, family home with low-key business potential in Akasia as well as a smart, modern residence in the up-market neighbourhood of Glenvista.

In March, the company has been instructed to auction 248 fully serviced, residential one and two zoned stands and 120 freestanding homes at Grootvlei Residential Estate in Strubenvale, Springs.

Says Du Toit: “Virtually every property auction we ’ ve hosted of late has attracted bidders in their droves who were not shy to bid high prices.”
