PVA BUCKS CURRENT TREND
ALTHOUGH arguably best known for their vehicle auction prowess, Park Village Auctions has also earned a reputation for auctioning properties across the board.
The auction of properties of every shape and size over the past few months pays testament to the company ’ s abilities in this regard, said PVA ’ s Jaco du Toit.
For instance, towards the end of last year, PVA auctioned a “jawdropping ” double-storey mansion in the upmarket residential estate of Kosmos Ridge in Hartbeespoort.
Standout features of this property included an infinity swimming pool, a lavish master bedroom, a stunning entertainment patio, gym and squash court.
In November, PVA auctioned a large industrial property, plant and equipment stemming from liquidations in Germiston. In December, a sectional title unit was auctioned at Madison Palms East on Grayston Drive.
Later that month, four blocks of flats and a sizeable adjacent portion of commercial land in the township of Zamdela in Sasolburg was also brought to market by PVA. In January, PVA auctioned a large family home with low-key business potential in Akasia as well as a smart, modern residence in the upmarket neighbourhood of Glenvista.
In March, the company was instructed to auction 248 fully serviced residential one and two zoned stands and 120 freestanding homes at Grootvlei Residential Estate in Strubenvale, Springs.
Said Du Toit: “Virtually every property auction we ’ ve hosted of late has attracted bidders in their droves who were not shy to bid high prices. Such activity is reflective of the ongoing need for property in every category despite the current socioeconomic climate.
“Suffice to say we take great pride in meeting the needs of our clients and look forward to bringing more ‘ hot properties ’ to market soon. Watch this space!”
