Last year, she received a financial boost to start her business when she won R80 000 in prize money after being announced the national winner of the 2014 Pitch & Polish Engen entrepreneurial competition. She is also the founder and CEO of Dream Girls Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to empower young women to be confident, independent and skilled.
