West and UN ’ s hypocrisy
THE Western world and United Nations’ hypocrisy, selective morality and double standards are really nauseating, not to mention that kangaroo court, the International Criminal Court (ICC) .
This court has discredited itself in the eyes of African people by singling out African heads of state for prosecution and ignoring genocidaires and violators of human rights in the West and Israel.
What happened to General Laurent Nkunda, who was arrested with fanfare in Rwanda in 2009 after he was accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Democratic Republic of Congo?
He is probably being used by the Rwandan and Ugandan governments to protect the interests of US, Canadian, European and Israeli patrons.
Why are Paul Kagame of Rwanda and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda not on the wanted list for being accomplices in devastating the people of eastern DRC?
I urge and implore those interested, especially members of the judiciary and African leaders, to Google and read AD Hemming’s article with the headline “Western-backed Terrorism in the Congo” in the Dissident Voice of June 12 2015.
South Africa’s courts can’t allow themselves to be used in the political chess game by the UN, imperialists, former coloniser countries and hypocritical outfits like the Southern Africa Litigation Centre that filed a petition to arrest the leader of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir.
Why didn’t they file petitions against Kagame and Museveni and a host of war criminals such as Nkunda, mining companies that operate in eastern DRC and leaders of Western governments as well?
There are corporations operating in eastern Congo who are protected by the media and the Western intelligence apparatus but who are soaked in Congolese blood. How do they get away with it?
