TRUCKS AND TRAILERS FOR THE TAKING
MONTH-END will play host to Park Village Auction ’ s next truck and trailer sale. The auction will take place on June 25 at 10.30am at PVA ’ s truck and trailer holding yard at Nasrec on Randshow Road.
Truck tractor stock to go on auction includes a fleet of 2012 Renault Kerax 440, Scania G420 ’ s, Iveco Stralis 480, International 9 800, Nissan GW 26410, UD440, UD290 and UD460, Mercedes Benz, MAN TGA 33-480, Mitsubishi FV26-340 and Freightliner Argosy.
Earth-moving equipment comprise Shantui SD32 Bulldozers, skidsteers, backhoe loaders and excavators.
Rigid truck stock includes Isuzu FVM1200 & FSR800, Nissan UD40 and UD80, Tata 713, 1518, 5542, Hino 10-176, FAW, Isuzu and Toyota Dyna closed body, drop side models.
Big name trailer brands including Henred Fruehauf tri-axle sloper trailers, SA Truck Bodies side tipper link trailers, Kearney, Paramount, Afrit flat deck links and Tautliner trailers will also be auctioned.
A number of salvage Nissan Primastar 100 dci ’ s will also be offered alongside an assortment of LDV ’ s including Ford Rangers, Chevrolet Corsa utility models and NP300 ’ s.
“This is one of the nicest truck and trailer selections we ’ ve had up for auction in a while,” says PVA ’ s LeRoy Augustyn, who explains that bidders will also be able to participate in the auction via simulcast. He also points out that the bulk of the trucks and trailers stem largely from bank repossessions.
“Periodically we are consigned with used units by logistics entities and the like seeking to keep up to date with current models but by and large we disperse trucks and trailers on behalf of the banks, because we have a broad footprint in the marketplace and are able to provide a fair return while supplying the market with much needed assets.”
