NELSON Mandela, Walter Sisulu, Govan Mbeki, Robert Sobukwe and many other leaders spent more than 20 years in prison for fighting against apartheid. Janusz Walus, who killed Chris Hani, spent a lousy 22 years in prison because of SA’s white-dominated judicial system.

He might soon be joining his family and celebrating his release. The Hani family has spent 22 years without the head of their family. I really can’t understand why Walus can’t be left in prison irrespective of claims that he has “cancer”.
