The PAC appreciates Moseneke’s role

-

THE PAN Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) has always been aware of the day on which comrade Dikgang Moseneke would cease to be the deputy chief Justice of South Africa.

We are grateful for the gallant role that Moseneke played since the age of 14.

He did not just join the struggle but he joined, at the time the strongest PAC, which had launched its Anti-Pass Campaign which resulted in the Sharpeville and Langa massacres where scores of members of the organisation were slaughtered.

Young Moseneke heeded the call of Robert Sobukwe and sacrificed his youth to the struggle for this country.

Moseneke has never been in the limelight for the wrong reasons but has always served as a role model to many.

We are also grateful for the speech by Advocate Dumisa Ntsebeza at his farewell.

When he mentioned the PAC slogan “One settler, one bullet” Moseneke became emotional and nearly shed tears.

Ntsebeza is the only one who reminded us that Moseneke joined the struggle through the PAC.

The PAC is disappointed that Moseneke was denied a post of Chief Justice due to his political association.

Moseneke, go spend your remaining quality time with your loved ones – the time that the struggle stole and the time that the PAC took from you.

You are in the history books.

We have been receiving messages that appeal to Moseneke to come and offer leadership to the PAC, but we appreciate every role that comrade Moseneke played.

He really deserves some family time which he lost due to a racist regime and currently to a corrupt government. Kenneth Mokgatlhe PAC spokesperson
