TRUCKS AND TRAILERS ON OFFER

PARK Village Auctions is pleased to announce the date of its next truck and trailer auction.

The auction will take place on Thursday, June 23, at 10.30am at PVA’s truck yard at Nasrec on Randshow Road in Johannesbu­rg South. Viewing will take place the day before from 10am to 4pm.

In keeping with what bidders have come to expect, PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn says the inventory includes a wide variety of truck tractors, yellow metal, “rigids”, trailers and agricultur­al equipment as well as miscellane­ous assets stemming from an industrial pipe vacuum and high pressure cleaning company.

Specific truck tractor brands to go on the block include Isuzu Gigamax 70460, Internatio­nal 9800s, Nissan GW 26-410, Mercedes Benz, Freightlin­er Argosy CISX 530, Various MAN TGA and TGS models, Scania, Iveco Stralis, Tata Novus 5542 and Hino 57- 450.

The earth-moving equipment comprises JCB backhoe and skidsteer loaders, a Doosan 310 wheeled loader, Tata Prima 2528 tipper trucks and FAW 30-330 concrete mixers.

Rigid trucks include MAN and Nissan UD70 with high pressure pumps and mounted tanks, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan UD40, 80 and 90, Toyota Dyna, a Tata 918 bus and Hino rigid trucks.

PVA’s trailer stock features a fleet of Henred and Kearney tri-axle slopers, Paramount, SA truck bodies and AFRIT flat deck trailers. Agricultur­al equipment to be auctioned includes Case 125 Maxxum tractors, Case 2388 Combine and Case 7130 Harvester with Teraflex 3020 header.

Additional assets to be auctioned include 2012 Toyota 2.7 Quantum’s, Toyota Hilux 2.5 D4D LDV’s, Toyota Avanza 1.5, trailer mounted high pressure pumps, welders, pumps, electric motors, battery chargers, a Peugeot Boxer L4H2 panel van and water hoses.

Augustyn says PVA’s truck sales continue to enjoy strong support despite the economic downturn.
