MISS PRU LAUGHS AT RUMOURS

ONE of SA’s leading DJs, Miss Pru, has poured cold water on rumours that artists are being mistreated at her record label‚ Ambitiouz Entertainment.

Speaking to local entertainment site Zkhiphani‚ Miss Pru said she often feels at home when she’s with the people from the record label‚ labelling mistreatment rumours as “hogwash”.

“We don’t get mistreated at all‚” she said.

“Obviously we all have our one or two small things‚ but it’s not something as big as what they wrote in the papers.”

It was reported in May that Emtee and Fifi Cooper‚ who are part of the same stable‚ were revolting against Ambitiouz Entertainment owner Kgosi Mahumapelo after he allegedly seized their Metro FM Awards statuettes and kept them in his office.

It was also alleged Emtee was angry with Mahumapelo for paying him and Fifi the same bonuses in December‚ as he believed he raked in more money in gigs than her.

Speculation swirled that artists were not taken good care of. “We laughed so hard as a team at what they had written‚ and it just made us stronger as a team‚” Miss Pru said.

Emtee also denied the claims‚ saying the reports were not true.
