Stop regarding whites as superior

I REFER to the article by Prince Mashele in the Sowetan dated September 5 2016, where he was spot-on regarding the issue of stupid black people who think that speaking English is a sign of intelligence.

It is a fact that we still have a lot of foolish black people who still believe that whites are superior.

Black people in this country hate themselves to an extent that they have become copycats by adopting every nonsense that came with the imperialists.

How do you then justify the behaviour of stupid black pastors in our communities who believe that preaching in broken English to their own is the right thing to do despite the absence of white people in their audience?

Another serious challenge that we are facing in the black communities is the belief that “for a black person to think right he must first think white”. Black people are ashamed to express themselves in their African languages.

It is an indisputable fact that colonialism was entrenched for centuries in Africa and thus succeeded in destroying the African people mentally, psychologically, morally, spiritually, physically, and made black people to lose their identity. Our people need to be decolonised as a matter of urgency. They have been abused for a long time.
