IDOLS SA RUNNER-UP LEDWABA SAYS ‘I DO’
BRENDEN Ledwaba quietly walked down the aisle at the weekend.
The Idols SA runner up won many hearts with his cute boyish looks in season nine of the popular Mzansi Magic talent search. Ledwaba tied the knot with a woman known as Nompumelelo Mtshali.
In a sweet and romantic note he shared on social media Ledwaba, 22, waxed lyrical: “It’s how you make me feel, it’s how you bring light to a dark room. It’s knowing you were made from my rib, I love you ... Mrs Ledwaba.”
The couple engaged last month and in an unostentatious but beautiful ceremony witnessed by an intimate crowd Nompumelelo commented on her Instagram account: “Only family and close friends as witnesses, simplicity at it’s best, is not overpowering.”
The bridesmaids were dressed in black, so were the groomsmen with white shirts. Nompumelelo wore a simple and elegant beige gown, and had her hair in stylish corn-rows.
Ledwaba sported a salesman look, in a navy blue suit with a blue stripped tie.
She may have raised eyebrows with the quickie engagement and nuptials at such a young age, but Nompumelelo retorts to that in her Instagram post to her husband:
“You came into my life and everything changed, all you see is the best in me, all you do is love me, all you do is sacrifice for me. When love is pure, age is not a factor, material is not a factor.”
The couple posted pictures of themselves looking all loved up and with Nompumelelo emotional on her big day.
She ends her message with: “Our love rejuvenates. Our life changes lives. Our love is not picture perfect, our love is purpose. I don't know what this journey holds.”
