Masemola shines bright at Saftas nomination­s do

TELEVISION and stage actor Warren Masemola is one of the stars who shone the brightest at this year’s South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas) nomination­s party.

which airs on SABC 3. Afrikaans production­s dominated the Safta nomination list, from feature films, soapies, documentar­ies and drama series.

Saftas have also added new categories like Youth Achiever, Outstandin­g Provincial Contributo­r and Outstandin­g person with Disability which will all be voted for by the industry. The Lifetime Achievemen­t Award will be open to public nomination. Saftas 2017 are scheduled for March 16-18 at the Sun City Superbowl in North West.
