Masemola shines bright at Saftas nominations do
TELEVISION and stage actor Warren Masemola is one of the stars who shone the brightest at this year’s South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas) nominations party.

which airs on SABC 3. Afrikaans productions dominated the Safta nomination list, from feature films, soapies, documentaries and drama series.

Safta CEO Zama Mkosi announced that the awards had found a new home in Sun City where they will be staged for the next five years. Saftas have also added new categories like Youth Achiever, Outstanding Provincial Contributor and Outstanding person with Disability which will all be voted for by the industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be open to public nomination. Saftas 2017 are scheduled for March 16-18 at the Sun City Superbowl in North West.
