Ramaphosa will not win because of ANC tribalism

-

Come December 2017, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma will become president of the ANC and in 2019, president of the country.

Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa should just forget about the race because he is already beaten. He does not have a constituency to support him.

He needs divine intervention to get elected. ANC members do not like him. They regard him as a capitalist.

In 2012 in Mangaung he was elected deputy president as a compromise candidate.

Ramaphosa is being blocked from the presidency not because he is incompetent but because he is not a Nguni and was not in exile or on Robben Island.

Zuma does not believe Ramaphosa can lead the ANC. If I were Ramaphosa, I would resign from government because the odds are against him. Zuma and other ANC members do not like him because the current leadership is tribalist and hypocrites.

Since Zuma became president of the ANC and the country its membership in KwaZulu-Natal has increased dramatically.

Most people in KwaZulu-Natal, particularly Zulus, vote for the ANC not because they like the party but because its president is one of them.

Should a non-Nguni be elected president, most Zulus will vote for Inkatha or the National Freedom Party. Whenever Zuma has challenges, he runs to his home province for support.

The issue of tribalism in the ANC is crystal clear because Zuma’s cabinet is dominated by Ngunis, particularly Zulus.

Zuma should stop blaming racism whenever blacks and whites march together because whites are also citizens of this beautiful country.

Some ANC members are aware of this demon but have elected to keep mum for fear of losing their jobs.

In Xitsonga we say: “Mbyana leyi nga na rhambu enon’weni a yi vukuli ” (a person who benefits does not complain). Does the ANC want us to believe that the only competent people are Ngunis and that the other ethnic groups are incompetent?

I don’t think so. It will take 100 years to have a non-Nguni ANC president.

Everyday the ANC makes lot of noise condemning racism but it fails to condemn tribalism in its own house.
