To distract herself from the storm that has followed her now infamous interview with eNCA this week, and the prying eyes watching her every move, Norma Gigaba is giving away a suit.
Norma, wife of Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba, has had a rough week after her interview was followed by much ridicule and backlash, with viewers less than flattering.
And now her husband’s alleged former mistress, US-based Buhle Mkhize, allegedly treated social media followers to an entertaining and potentially damaging marathon of tweets about the minister’s private affairs.
In a move meant to keep up with her public appearances, Norma took to Instagram to give away a designer suit.
“This is my fav (sic)suit and I really enjoyed rocking it, but now it’s time to give it away, one of the students will be lucky,” she posted. Her post was followed by a number of fans pleading with her to give them the designer brown three-piece suit .
On Tuesday, Norma posted a picture of herself in a red formal dress with a motivational verse from the Bible .
“What shall we say then unto these things, If God be for us, who can be against us,” reads the verse. This was followed by a number of comments from fans.
“You don’t deserve any of this,” responded Lebo Modika.
“If people were being judged by their inner beauty, you would be Miss Universe ... you’re the most beautiful woman inside out,” Stephy The makeup artist said.
Another fan going as Matsue1 gushed: “Listened to your in- terview, you nailed it girl. Love the way you love your person and your family. Protect what’s yours and continue to fight your battles on your knees.”
