Foreign criminals causing anarchy

-

Without stoking fires of xenophobia, what happened in Soweto, where a foreign bogus doctor was nabbed, doesn’t come as a shock to many.

As law-abiding citizens and brothers and sisters from elsewhere in Africa we need to talk about such people. There are misguided anti-xenophobia advocates who want to suppress conversation about the anarchy caused by foreign criminals.

As much as we need to fight all forms of crime holistically, we also need to question the role played by government in ensuring that immigration laws are enforced. Whether we want to admit it or not, these crimes affect us all.

Crime committed by illegal immigrants is a double-edged sword any day. Here’s the person who disrespected our laws and sovereignty and then proceeded to commit crime.

We can never overemphasise the role that law-abiding foreign nationals should play in outing such bad apples. Anyone who issues illegal and fraudulent government documents is an enemy of the state.

Fellow African brothers and sisters must know that helping us rid our country of such criminals forms part of loving our continent.

Anyone who doesn’t want us to talk about such criminal activities is inadvertently aiding these criminals.

These bogus scumbags pose various risks. They can give “patients” harmful medicine and diagnoses. We also can’t afford to have more unfit drivers driving with fraudulent paperwork.

Our government needs to stop the politically correct stance. We need to protect our country and those who want to live peacefully in it.
