Take an All-To-Come place bet at your TAB Both horses could win

- By Racing Editor

Sometimes there can be value in an All-To-Come Place bet placed with either the TAB or Betting World and with the Win eight houses in eight weeks competition in full cry there is always a chance that a losing bet of R10 a more could win you a house.

Today’s recommended bet is an all to come Place bet that starts off in Race 4 with No 7 Loyal Lieutenant and goes on to Race 5, No 5, Wrap It Up.

It would not be a surprise if both of these runners were to win but they will both be hard to beat out of a place.

Trainer Robbie Sage has his yard in decent form and Loyal Lieutenant is clearly the one to beat in Race 4, a Maiden Plate over 1600m. This Captain Al colt was well beaten on debut when a 10-length third behind champion two-year-old Mustaaqeem and followed that with two decent place finishes behind some Sean Tarry-trained horses.

Loyal Lieutenant was runner-up behind Warriors Rest then was third to Wonderous Climber.

Jockey Muzi Yeni gets his first chance aboard the colt and his fitness will have to be taken on trust as he has not run since May.

Trainer St John Gray and jockey Craig Zackey make a decent combination when they team up and Wrap It Up looks ready to run another big race from a good draw.

Wrap It Up should be well suited to this course and distance.

If one needs to build up some float money for the day one needs to look no further than the best bet on the day, Hampton Court in Race 2.

Var colt Hampton Court was third on his debut in May and probably just needed his recent run when runner-up behind Brignumberten and is likely to go one better. Gavin Lerena takes the ride for trainer Geoff Woodruff.
