Dads and kids get to spend the day without mommy
Fathering a child is something that any man can do, but being a good father is something that not many can.
This is a difficult issue which affects the world at large. However, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and one such beaming stream is through great dads like Moses Mokgoko.
The husband, father and businessman believes in being a good father so much that he has birthed a bi-annual event called Cool Dads and Kids.
It is a full day where fathers get to spend quality time with their children, with no mothers in sight. The aim is to shine a light on this important matter.
“The event is aimed at making it normal for dads to spend as much time with their little and not-so-little ones as much as possible, as there is nothing as special as a father’s love,” Mokgoko says.
Thabo Mabogwane, also known as Smol from award-winning music duo Black Motion, is an ambassador for the event.
It is happening on November 25 at Cedar Junction in Zwavelpoort, Tshwane. Tickets cost R80 for adults and R60 for children, while under-2s get in for free.
The entrance fee includes train rides, pedal boats, jungle gyms, swimming pool with a slide, trampoline, jumping castles and many more.
The day kicks off from 11am to 5pm.
