Democracy given bad name by ANC

-

There’s nothing that makes me mad than hearing racists saying black people are wired to be corrupt and incompetent.

That is not true. Sadly, ANC comrades are not helping at all. We’re all now judged by those racists based on actions of heartless and incompetent black politicians.

What is happening in North West hospitals is unacceptable. People are literally being sent to early graves. There’s a reason why corpses should be removed away immediately after death from people who are still alive – corpses are a health hazard.

ANC right now is giving us all the reasons not to vote for it. After reading about unacceptable conditions in those hospitals, I’m now viewing all those people who support premier Supra Mahumapelo in a different light.

They are like blood-thirsty monsters who still want to see more vulnerable people dying unnecessarily. I do not recall in my younger days in Transkei being turned away from hospitals because of prevailing conditions.

I hate to compare the hated homelands system and the democratic era but incompetence is forcing me to. I patronised St Patrick’s Hospital in Mbizana a lot in my younger days. I even recognised many faces who were important to me and my health.

I knew who worked in pharmacy and OPD [outpatients department]. We came to accept grumpy nurses because at the end of the day you left hospital premises having received best health care, carrying your medication and a complementary Pronutro packet.

Our politicians are becoming more and more heartless with each passing day. What is happening in North West is dispelling any notion that ANC is a pro-poor party. Well-off people use private hospitals and therefore those who are dying there are the poor folks that the ANC claims to care about.
