Miller gets sixth crack at title

-

It will be a case of now or never for MelissaMiller when she opposes Thema Zuma for the vacant bantamweight title in one of KM Sports’ three title bouts at Sandton Convention Centre tonight.

Miller has already blown five title chances, yet she should overwhelm Zuma with her experience, having been around since 2013. Zuma is undefeated in four bouts but has not been asked to fight over six rounds.

In another fight, Sibusiso “Spook” Zingange promised to regain the ABU International junior lightweight title against Prince “Fresh” Ndlovu.

Prince Dlomo will welcome Gabriel Imalwa from Namibia in a WBF International junior welterweight belt.

These bouts and three others will form part of the Arnold Classic Festival .

Boxing is mourning the death ● of young female promoter Phindile Mbhele from Port Elizabeth this week. Her memorial service will be held on Monday at Sakhasonke Community Hall, Walmer Township in Port Elizabeth at 5pm. – Bongani Magasela
