Solinas defends Billiat & company

Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas was livid at suggestions that he should be concerned that his strikers haven’t scored in the last two games.

When Chiefs beat SuperSport United 1-0 in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinals, it was rightback Ramahlwe Mphahlele who scored and Willard Katsande netted in the win against Black Leopards.

Solinas said his strikers should be judged on how many goals they have by the end of this campaign. “Let’s see at the end of the season how many goals my strikers have,” insisted Solinas, sounding agitated.
